Maroon Bells, CO

Maroon Bells are billed as the most photographed mountains in North America, and they deserve it. Just a couple of miles from Aspen , and standing over 14,000 feet, they are well worth the hike for a closer view. My trip was in November which was great with cool and crisp weather and little to no foot traffic, so I had the trail to myself, just get there early. No serious elevation gains or rock scrambling made this a very enjoyable venture.
